Water Plant
The softened water circuit is used to produce the steam, while the cold, untreated water circuit is used for condensation system and the washing system
The appliance’s water system is divided into two parts: the softened water circuit and cold water circuit
Solenoid valves
Umidificazione S1
Humidification valve S1
This solenoid valve is connected to the soft water inlet and has always applied a flow regulator; flow depends on the model and power supply.
This solenoid valve is driven by SD if unit is settled as direct injection O35 (Sapiens O25)
The solenoid valves are essentially all the same and are identified by the number of outlets and the possibility that one of the outlets may have no electrical coil installed
Possible to identify each solenoid by the name printed on the wire that connect it
Boiler filling valve S2
This solenoid is connected to the soft water inlet and has applied a flow regulator; flow regulator is orange colour.
In case of unit without boiler S2 is not present, the water pressure switch PA is installed.
O53 (Sapiens O47)
The solenoid valves are essentially all the same and are identified by the number of outlets and the possibility that one of the outlets may have no electrical coil installed
Possible to identify each solenoid by the name printed on the wire that connect it
Condensation valve S5
This solenoid is connected to the cold-water inlet, has no flow regulator and supply the two nozzles which cooldown the drain box and probe SD.
O34 (Sapiens O24)
Washing valve S7
This solenoid is connected to the cold-water inlet and has no flow regulator it is connected to the washing system
O41 (Sapiens O27)
Flow regulators
The regulator is inserted inside the output of the solenoid valve, where it is firmly pushed into place.
The flow rate of the flow regulator varies depending on the type of machine and the type of power supply (gas / electric) also if the appliance is equipped with boiler S2 it is equipped with the orange regulator.
Solenoid valves used for steam production are always equipped with a flow regulator to supply the predetermined amount of water, regardless of the supply pressure.
Connections
Piping
Water pipes are made of flexible silicon and have terminals; terminals are JG male:
Possible to find also rigid white and blue plastic pipes
The hydraulic connections are made with hydraulic pipes connected to each other using JG connectors
Connections
There are many connection systems but the connections are mainly of 2 types:
Plug in
they are very easy to use and the coupling is simply by pressure
Coupling ring
The coupling is always done by pressure but to ensure the seal there is an screwable ring that allows you to lock the release
