DESCRIPTION
If the magnetron 1 overheats the thermostat TM2 opens and the input 59 on the base board in case of lack of signal turns off the power supply to the C6 contactor
WARNING
TM2 is applied to the body of the magnetron therefore it is located in section HV. If necessary check the 15VDC voltage on the inputs 59 – 60 of the base board
CHECKS
The thermostat TM2 automatically resets as soon as the temperature returns to normal but to restore proper operation check:
- Cleaning air filters
- The correct use; in the case of using microwaves at full power, the presence of an adequate amount of thawed food is essential
- The operation of the cooling fan
- The continuity of the TM2 from cold condition
- The state of the magnetron 2
