[How to](https://support.lainox.com/en/knowledge/sapiens#how-to) # Sapiens - Instructions for switching off and putting out of service If the appliance won’t be used for a long period of time (more than a week), it is advisable to proceed as follows. - If the appliance is equipped with Aroma & Smoke, before cleaning, remove the cartridges, insert the small tube in a container full of water and run a few smoke and aroma cycles so as to clean the tubes. - Run a cleaning cycle (with Calout)\* at a suitable level to ensure the utmost cleanliness of the chamber.
