This message does not necessarily require the intervention of a technician; the causes of the failure may be due to external causes or improper use.
DESCRIPTION
If the magnetron 1 overheats the thermostat TM1 opens and the input 61 on the base board in case of lack of signal turns off the power supply to the C6 contactor
WARNING
TM1 is applied to the body of the magnetron therefore it is located in section HV. If necessary check the 15VDC voltage on the inputs 61 – 62 of the base board
CHECKS
The thermostat TM1 automatically resets as soon as the temperature returns to normal but to restore proper operation check:
- Cleaning air filters
- The correct use; in the case of using microwaves at full power, the presence of an adequate amount of thawed food is essential
- The operation of the cooling fan
- The continuity of the TM1 from cold condition
- The state of the magnetron 1
